This sake is one of the seven famous breweries in Miyagi Prefecture: Hakurakusei (Shinzawa Brewery), Katsuyama (Katsuyama Sake Brewery), Urakasumi (Saura Brewery), Suminoe (Suminoe Sake Brewery), Yamawa (Yamawa Shuzoten), Haginotsuru (Hagino Shuzo), and Koganezawa (Kawatakei Shoten). This sake was sold as part of the "DATE SEVEN" project, in which seven breweries joined together to create a single sake.
It is dry with a fruity aroma and an acidic finish.
It has a delicate flavor that is best enjoyed on its own or with white fish sashimi, as it does not go well with strong-flavored dishes.
Urakasumi style is also available.
