Tom in Tokyo
This is a comment from an amateur sake lover.
This brand is famous in Saijo, Hiroshima Prefecture, and I tasted it because it was rare to find a dry sake. It was a crisp, light and dry sake as described on the label, and the umami flavor was thin. In a sense, it is a sake that tastes light and detached, with a certain phosphorous feel to it. This dryness is literal, and personally, I think it would be easier to drink if it had a little more umami. Anyhow, thanks for another great sake tonight! Thanks 😊
