It's a genuine junmai ginjo with apples added to it, and it has an apple flavor and aroma that makes it extremely easy to drink!
But I didn't feel like the apples were distracting from the sake, it was completely sake in the mouthfeel! It's so strange!
I wanted to buy some to take home, but none of the liquor stores I visited around Ise Jingu had it...
Is this a rare one...?
