- morkzgInteresting nose: on one hand we have brought, juicy tropical notes of pineapple, lychee, grape, bubblegum; on the other I get something deep and umami like nuts, burnt sugar, and maybe even like apple vinegar? Not sure if my imagination. Ah, something like pickled vegetables maybe explains the nose. Certainly more nuts and umami than sweet, fruity summer sake. Memories of summer indeed - perhaps brewed a few summers ago? Decent, but not what I want from a "summer sake". Feels old. 2.75/5
