ラル大佐Last Saturday, the safety prayer ceremony for the Sendai Aoba Festival was held at Aoba Shrine, and we participated in the ceremony as a kijari-kai. Aoba Shrine is a shrine dedicated to Lord Date Masamune, and the stone statue in the hand-watering basin is somewhat mabu. Before the opening ceremony, we were told that we would be practicing a new song to be presented this year, and I was asked to be the elder brother kijatama for that song. Although there were no guests, it was my debut performance. I was nervous because I had just started out, and I gave myself a score of 50. Well, at any rate, I made my debut, so we celebrated. I am tasting my wife's hanamup. I can't complain about the fruity aroma, the clear sweetness and umami, and the harmony of acidity and bitterness at the end of the set. It is always a good sake. Finally, this year's Sendai Aoba Festival is about to get underway. I will be participating for two days this year as a member of the Wooden Craftsmen's Association. Maybe I will play the role of my brother on the stage somewhere? I might be on stage somewhere. The Sendai Aoba Festival will be held from May 18 to 19, with a purification ceremony on May 11. This time of year, when Sendai is enveloped in fresh green leaves, is when the city is at its best! Please come and visit us all! Thank you for your visit!
