This year is the Year of the Dragon🐲, so I bought a bottle of Ryu-ryoku, which I had tasted before and enjoyed.
I opened this one on New Year's Day.
The first aroma is fruity and sweet like muscat.
When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the sweetness and moderate acidity.
It slowly finishes with a hint of spiciness on the tip of the tongue.
The sales staff at the Shinjuku Takashimaya sake department told us that the sake was once-fired, but it would probably taste even better if it were unfiltered, unpasteurized sake.
It was quite delicious 🍶.
