On my first sip I failed to find any qualities I often find in sake: no fruit, no almond, no flower, etc. I simply found it dry, slightly salty and even a slight “roughness”, but very very slight. Upon then checking online descriptions it was interesting to confirm those expected qualities were indeed not there. It was described as earthy, dry and slightly salty. A welcomed difference to what I’m used to. Enjoyed with a roast lobster tail and pasta with garlic butter.
