About Nanamizu
The brewer is Toraya Honten established in 1788.
The first generation from Gokasho Village in Omi Province started brewing sake in the heart of Utsunomiya where one of the "Seven Waters" of Utsunomiya, "Niji-no-I", gushes out.
He was certified as a Shimono Toji (master brewer) in 2011, and since then has steadily improved the quality of his sake, winning a gold medal at the National New Sake Competition in his second year as Toji.
In 2009, it was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge.
The sake's refreshing taste, elegant aroma, and deliciousness are recommended for both sake novices and connoisseurs.
