We had a light drink at Ponshukan during the day, and at night we had a drink at the hotel with Iburi Gakko cheese bought at Seijo Ishii in Niigata Station and a financier sold at a souvenir store near Ponshukan.
Of course it goes well with cheese, but it also goes really well with financier! The financier's almond flavor was more pronounced when soaked in the luxurious sake.
I'm afraid I'll get fat if I start thinking about pairing sweets and sake, so I'll limit myself to financiers and manju buns sold by the piece only when I visit Niigata.
As for the taste of Nekobayama, it was a familiar one with no particular peculiarities, so I enjoyed it.
I am a person who usually drinks a 180ml bottle in a cup over a few days, but I feel that once I open a one-cup bottle, it is the last time I drink it (especially when traveling), so I think I will have trouble handling it. Let's learn.
