新舘幸樹
This is my first time to buy a bottle.
I had no idea about the brand name or the lineup, and was attracted by the dry junmai (pure rice) flavor, so I bought it. After I brought it home, I learned that it was from Fukuoka.
First, I opened the bottle and heard a light popping sound, which gave me the impression that this was not my favorite type of sake.
When I put my mouth on it, I felt numbness on my lips and the tip of my tongue. As I continue to sip, thinking that this is the reason for the dry taste, I feel the sweetness and bitterness pass over the numbness, and they fall together before passing down my throat.
My personal impression is that it does not end as quickly as sake from the Tohoku region, but rather disappears, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
I would have liked to have paired it with local food.
