I had a good impression of Tocho when I drank it before, so I bought it again. I checked the Sake-no-Wa website and found that they had had the same label in 2020.
The first sip after opening the bottle.
It tastes sweet like chestnuts. It has a sweet taste, but not too sweet, with a clean aftertaste.
The accent is on the acidity, which is not the current style. The impression is almost the same as the last time I drank it.
The rice is Saga's Reihou. Shichida, also from Saga, makes a delicious sake using Reihou. It has a sweetness, but there may be some similarities in the refreshing aftertaste.
The yeast is No. 9.
It was delicious when warmed up a little.
