Hirasen's Yamahai
It was easy to drink without feeling the Yamahai feeling as much as I expected!
They have 34 Akita sake breweries on tap, but Shinmasa (Lapis) and Taiheizan are out of stock today!
Knowledge
This is a special Junmai Yamahai sake made by a long-established brewery in Akita, which has been sticking to the traditional Yamahai method of brewing sake. It has a clean aroma and a deep flavor that harmonizes the pleasant acidity and rich umami from the Yamahai method, making it a great sake to drink. It is delicious cold or warmed up, and the taste is even more full-bodied when warmed up to lukewarm.
