Shiga Prefecture Brewery Tour (2) Mitomiku Shuzo
I am familiar with the Mitomiku Sake Brewery and have a strong sense of familiarity with it, but this was my first visit to the brewery.
The entire brewery was open to the public, and there was also a souvenir shop 😁 and food stalls and tastings for a fee, so I decided to fill my stomach a little before noon.
Free Tasting
Sakura Tofu Junmai Ginjo
A limited edition sake for the Spring Kura Matsuri. The aroma is soft and fluffy, and the acidity is fresh and refreshing, just like spring. And it is very inexpensive at 1,000 yen for a four-pack.
Amazake
It has a natural, refreshing sweetness and is very tasty. In my opinion, it is a good match for Yonetsuru's amazake. I guess there are some really sweet and tasty amazake out there, if you look for them.
Nijiiro no Saihi Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake
It is a little gassy, sweet, and softly delicious.
Ii, whose mother is Nikomaru, is a very good friend of mine.
This is a rice with Nikomaru as its mother. It seems to be a new variety from Omi. It has a sour taste and a strong umami flavor, but not much sweetness.
Sanryusei Extra Edition II Mizukagami
It has a refreshing taste on the palate, followed by a bitter aftertaste. It was like this when I drank Mizukagami at Tengawa.
Yamahai Junmai Nama-zake Araubashiri
It was rough and tingled on the tongue. The taste was strong.
It was followed by...

Hello, Nemuchi-san. I think you can enjoy the festival atmosphere at Mitomiku just by going there. I used to have a banquet with Suyaki and funa-zushi in a box of P-boxes 😆.
