It's called "Betsuban" (extra), or as the owner of the liquor store puts it, "Betsu-ban" (extra)! Even if you don't want to be a part of the drama that got you hooked last year, I'm sure everyone will want to pick up a bottle of this.
It has no cloying taste. The fresh aroma is mellow and not too assertive.
It is a sake that you want to drink with care and pay homage to the brewers who do such meticulous work in places you cannot see.
The abalone liver we were served had just the right amount of bitterness and saltiness.
