Tamagawa is a sake brewed with resident yeast, watered and aged. This is a 2017 BY so it is almost 6 years old.
At room temperature for now. It has a whisky-like amber color and a sweetness with a solid matured aroma.
In the mouth, it is full of rich umami and matured flavor, followed by sourness and sweetness.
The lingering aftertaste is also enjoyable, so it is good to savor it slowly on its own. It can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
Kitanishiki" may refer to Hyogo Kitanishiki. It is a descendant of Gohyakumangoku. I am curious about it, so I look it up, but I have no idea what it's all about...
