The greenish aroma of green banana spreads gently, and after a light and fresh attack and a slightly light sweet taste, the slight bitterness and sourness can be felt, but they are just the right accent to bring the taste together and give it a light sharpness. The lingering aftertaste fades out smartly as it melts away while being beautifully arranged.
The "Oyamanishiki" used is a crossbreed of the father variety "Akita Sake No. 33" and the mother variety "Hidahomare" and is grown in Toyama Prefecture as a rice suitable for sake brewing.
Because this sake rice has a connection to Akita Prefecture, it is brewed with rice and yeast that are not normally used, resulting in a special version that is different from the previous Onagawa Tenka series.
