Slight alcohol overtone
The aroma is not fruity, but purely rice aroma and umami, with a little sweetness spreading through the aroma,
The sharp acidity and the spiciness of the alcohol make the bitterness and the umami of the rice disappear quickly and smoothly.
It is more of a food wine than a stand-alone sake.
The impression is that it is a refreshingly dry "in-between-meal" sake.
It went well with fried oysters and fried hokke (hokke).
