I was attracted to this sake by the claim that it won the highest gold medal at the "Best Sake in a Wine Glass Awards", which I don't know where it is held, so I picked it up and tasted it in a whiskey tasting glass, and it has a clean and refreshing quality like a daiginjo, a gorgeous but not too strong gentle ginjo aroma, and a sweet but not dry taste. The mild acidity is combined with the umami of the rice, and the bitterness is accompanied by a complex flavor. It tastes like a carefully crafted sake without being trendy.
