I remember that I bought and drank some Yukikenbai when I tasted it once before, and I liked the special junmai. This time, there were only other brands.
Nagaoka Castle Special Honjozo.
Easy to drink, rich and a little nutty.
Junmai Sake Isshin
A basic sake that has been fire-brewed twice.
It is full-bodied, with a nutty taste and rice flavor.
Hiyoroshi Junmai (hi-ire)
Aged at a low temperature for one year, this sake can be stored at room temperature. It has a sticky flavor and a slightly nutty taste.
All prices were unified at 1,430 yen. They don't sell much of anything outside of the prefecture, so the price is the same as local and Ponshukan stores.
I was left with the impression that everything was nutty, but I think I was probably drinking too much and my stupid tongue was getting even more stupid, and all I could get out was nuts.
