I miraculously found Hana-yosu at a store I hadn't visited in a very long time! If it was on sale, I would have bought it even if it was a little too much (lol). As you would expect from Hanahyokko! I really feel the pineapple flavor in both the top and bottom aroma! What surprised me because I drank it thinking it was a Hana-yoso is that it has surprisingly little sweetness. The sweetness and umami come out a little, and then the spiciness rushes in all at once and runs out. The bitterness is not very strong, so those who don't like bitterness may find it easy to drink. The pungency is strong, though. Therefore, it is recommended not to drink it with softer sake, as it may seem harsh when compared with softer sake. The aroma may deceive you, but it is surprisingly dry and pungent, so I don't think it is a sake that pops. I think it is good for people who are used to drinking various kinds of alcohol, but if this is the first alcohol you drink, it may be harder than you think. It is more of a classic sake than a modern sake, and I personally would be happy to have it at an izakaya.
