I've been wanting to try a bottle of Yokoyama to fill in the map as well.
We were short of dry sake (for my wife) in the fridge, so we talked to the proprietress at the liquor store and bought this one.
The aroma is of melon and semedyne.
When you put it in your mouth, it is crisp and sharp, with a beautiful umami and sourness, and a bitterness that appears for a moment, but quickly recedes.
I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but it's a good thing.
I'm glad my wife enjoyed it as much as I did😄.
I'll buy the other Yokoyamas next time.
Thanks for the treat!
