This time, it is a junmai namaishu with a rice polishing ratio of 77%. Higashinada often releases sake with a low rice polishing ratio, sometimes as low as 96% 😁.
It tastes dark, sweet, and sour! It is quite unique. If I were to use an analogy, it would be Lao Lao sake! It's a bit close to Lao Lao (sorry for the weird analogy).
It is completely different from what is called "light" or "full" sake, but if you want something different, this might be a good choice. It's a strange comment, but it is a delicious sake!
