Hirotogawa is a great autumn sake.
I was eagerly awaiting its release and immediately bought it.
The aroma is pear-like. The taste is fresh even though it is an autumn sake, something different from last year.
The sweetness is restrained, and while it has a good umami flavor, it has an astringency like a new sake? Egginess? I feel something like that.
It's good, it's good, but it's not what I was expecting.
I was expecting something with more umami. I was expecting something with more umami, but the freshness is stronger.
I liked last year's better.
