bouken
Even though I live in the Kansai region, I rarely see this sake.
The brewery had been outsourcing brewing to other companies since the toji retired, but resumed in-house brewing a few years ago.
This was the only sake I purchased at the Japanese Sake Festival.
The aroma is a bit vanilla-like on the nose. It has a fresh, raw sake-like flavor, with a refreshing sweetness that is instantly followed by bitterness and spiciness.
Maybe it is the alcohol content, but the alcohol taste is a little strong.
I feel like it gets more and more alcoholic day by day...
