My first time honored chrysanthemum. I was happy to purchase it because of the buzz. The alcohol content is a little low at 15 degrees. However, it is higher than other Kouei Kiku wines. I could not tell the rice polishing ratio from the bottle, but when I looked it up, I found it to be 60%. The rice used was Shunyo from Niigata Prefecture. Is this where "harujion" comes from? Kouei Kiku has other labels, but they seem to use different rice. I was told to be careful opening the bottle, but I opened it slowly and had no problem. It is a pity that I had high expectations since it also came with a special plastic cover. From the sweet aroma, the first sip of the wine is fruity, something I have never tasted before. This sake should be savored slowly in the mouth. You can feel the goodness of this sake if you take your time and send it down your throat. It goes well with fish. I would like to compare other labels.
