かいこま
This is the first brand "Sanzen Sakura" that I have ever had.
The brewery was moved from Gifu to Hokkaido due to the aging facilities and the difficulty of temperature control due to global warming.
This sake seems to be a sake made with fully ripe banana yeast.
The aroma is, as expected, a fruity upper aroma of 🍌 banana. In the mouth, after a slightly sweet mouthfeel with a hint of banana, sourness and a hint of bitterness finish the taste.
As it is a junmai sake, it does not have the gorgeous fullness of a junmai ginjo, so it is easy to drink and can be easily paired with meals.
It is best to drink it in a large glass, such as a Riedel daiginjo glass or a wine glass, to enjoy the banana aroma even more.
