My brother gave it to me and it has been 6 months without drinking it. The very nice label was peeled off and I am sorry for the situation, and, opened the bottle!
Homase is a rare sake, miraculously restored in recent years, brewed with "Homase," a native species of Kumamoto from the Edo period that was naturally grown on the company's own farmland and by farmers in the Kikuchi River system.
It is a truly unique sake with a gorgeous aroma reminiscent of bananas and pineapples, and nuances created by the benefits of the land and the diversity of microorganisms, including yeast, which overlap and resonate as a complex flavor.
It is quite easy to drink, and even women can enjoy it.
