The one thing I haven't tasted yet at Colors is ash, so I'm glad I got to taste it*.
Pale white peach aroma
The taste is impressive, with a clear acidity!
The other strange thing about it is that it smells like truffle-like mushrooms and, as usual, the light scent of that wooden vat*.
The aftertaste disappears quickly, so you'll want to drink it again, and the sake will soon be gone!
Why does it smell like mushrooms when made with rice? I wonder.
