This will be the second day in a row that I post on Kariho 😁. So let's get right to it. The color is cloudy. The aroma is fresh and has a hint of yeast. In the mouth, one first senses the sweetness of the rice, followed by a smooth mouthfeel and a rush of acidity and umami that is typical of sake brewing, and finally, a crisp finish. I think it is drier than yesterday's Spring Sakura label. But it is delicious. I paired it with a 3-piece sashimi platter. I'll start with the tuna. The flavor of both fish becomes more intense and the taste increases. Delicious 👍Next, I paired it with salted sea urchin. The strong sweetness of the sea urchin and the scent of the sea bring out the sweetness of this sake. The last big hit is the grape shrimp 🦐.
