When I went to the local supermarket to buy crabs at the end of the year, I saw it and bought it without a second thought. Kita Akita in a box. Personally, though, if I could consider this kind of sake to be unquestionably delicious, it would be my goal.
The Junmai Ginjo I had previously had was quite good, but this one, perhaps because the rice was too polished, was too light and dry to drink on its own. I personally thought it would be better with dishes with strong seasoning, but in any case, it is suitable for a medium-bodied sake.
I would like to explore the sake available in supermarkets.

We used to buy Kita Akita at the supermarket before we too went to a liquor store that sold real sake 🤔I remember it was good as a food sake 😌I wonder how you feel when you drink it now?

I wonder if the traditional position of sake has always been to focus on drinking sake by itself? So-called "modern" sake tastes great on its own, but this Kita-Akita sake makes me want to have something staple...
