Tasake Junmai Ginjyo Nama Mild Nigori
Tasake is very popular, and some stores only offer it in a package deal. This is not the case at the liquor store where I buy my sake, so I bought the last bottle of Tasake Junmai Ginjyo Nama Usu Nigori. I have had several bottles of Tasake, but I didn't have a good impression of it. I didn't expect much from the light nigori, but this was delicious. It had a fresh sweetness with a sourness that came later. When I drank about half of it, I wondered if the sweetness would increase if I let it sit for a few days. So I let it sit in the refrigerator for about 3 days. When I drank it, the sweetness was gone and the sourness was stronger. Too bad. It would have been better to open the package and drink it in a day or two. I think the atmosphere of the taste is similar to that of Takeyoshi Nigori.
