I received this as a souvenir from Hokkaido.
It is a public-private brewery, a rare collaboration between Higashikawa Village in Hokkaido and the Sanzen Sakura Sake Brewery, which moved here from Gifu.
It is a junmai (pure rice) sake, but it has a soft rice flavor that is typical of Aizan, and it seemed to be a good match with the food.
Dried landlocked salmon and bai clam were excellent with the salty taste.
