Last night in the first half of this year. I want to drink something other than Niigata, so I head out to the streets of Joetsu Takata. We find a place called Maruko that serves drinks other than those from Niigata, so we go here. When I look at the sake menu, I see "Hanayosu". What? One of the most popular brands is here? And. I ordered immediately. "This sake is very sweet," said the owner. I want to drink a popular brand of sake. I'm a very young man, after all. How did I feel after drinking it? Yes, it didn't feel like Japanese sake at all. You can guzzle this sake on its own. It's delicious. How is it as a saké? Hmmm, I don't know if it's good as a saké. It might be difficult to pair with a meal, but it's delicious! But it's delicious! No doubt about it. As expected, the restaurant serves it in a wine glass, perhaps because they want you to enjoy the aroma.
