The nose is lactic acidic, with a crisp aroma of Japanese pear and muscat.
The first sip has a juicy, light sweetness like that of Japanese pears, along with a chirpy gassy sensation. Later, acidity, a trace of astringency, bitterness, and a touch of alcohol spread to neutralize the fruity intensity of the first half. The intense fruity taste and the complex flavor typical of Japanese sake are highly balanced, making it extremely tasty.
Incidentally, it is also very good when it is degassed.
