Kamo Nishiki Ginjo
A New Year's gift for my aunt who doesn't drink.
A series of small bottles for my aunt.
I always appreciate it when she brings me sake that I would never buy myself.
This year, it was Kamonishiki, a little different in taste.
But the key point is that the date is 2023.07...
I will have it cold.
The color is clear with a hint of yellow.
The top aroma is mild and not much.
In the mouth, it flows smoothly onto the tongue and has a clean and clear mouthfeel without much flavor.
After swallowing, a dark, bitter flavor emerges, followed by a significant bitter and astringent aftertaste, which disappears along with the alcohol.
It doesn't feel like it has aged well, but it does have a slightly twisted flavor.
I would like to try a newer one.
