Tonight, I'd like to drop my first series of major sake, which I haven't had much chance to drink except for this one: 💁♂️
Saku FLINT Junmai Ginjo 2024BY✨
It's finally here, Saku ZAKU, and from the look of it, the way it's wrapped in linen gives it a special feeling that it's not a mass-produced type 😆.
It seems that this bottle is named after Yamatotakeru, the god of the gods.
The aroma is not the usual characteristic of Yamada-Nishiki, but rather a grain-like aroma of rice, with a hint of chemi, and as the name suggests, a flint-like minerality. ☺️ The attack is soft with a sweet umami taste of rice, but the second half is sharp with a bitter taste and dryness of alcohol 😋😋😋😋😋.
I'm going to try other brands from Saku ZAKU 🙌
