Kenrishi boasts a history of 500 years. It is one of Nada's leading sake breweries, but when it was founded, the brewery was located in Itami.
Mizuho Junmai is made by blending different aged sake like blended whiskey. The caramel-like aroma and the bright color of the sake may make you feel a bit intimidated, but the taste is rich and well-balanced with no aftertaste. The taste is rich, but balanced without a harsh aftertaste, and when heated slightly, it takes on a spiciness that gives it a different flavor.
The brewery's motto is "Keep the clock ticking," and this sake is quite different from the modern juicy sake, but that's good in its own way.
