It has a matured sweetness and plenty of umami.
The alcohol content is lower and the taste is lighter than that of Kikuhime Junmai, which is a very robust sake, so you can easily drink too much without getting tired of it.
When you drink it when you are tired, you will feel it soak into your body and heal you.
It makes me happy and relaxed during my daily evening drinks.
It is cool that they do not cut any corners even for regular sake, such as using special A Yamadanishiki from Yoshikawa for the malted rice and maturing the sake in Yamahai.
