Junmai-shu Iiyama Hitogochi 100%⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Polishing ratio 70%, ALC 15%, Sake degree +5
This year again, I went on a hot spring and ski tour with my friends to the ski resort of Takao Kogen. The average age of the participants is 60 years old.
At Super Tsuruya near Iiyama Station, we chose 1) Masumi Arabashiri Junmai Ginjo-Nama-Ginjo Nama-Shu, 55% Polishing ratio, 17% ALC, 2) Mizuo Special Junmai, 100% Kinmon-Nishiki, 59% Polishing ratio, 15% ALC, and 3) Hokkomi-Masamune Junmai-Shu. I chose this one for my friends to compare with Kitamitsu Masamune.
Opened the third kind at the banquet. I chose the Hokko Masamune as the sake that I thought would be dry with a strong rice taste based on the rice polishing ratio and sake degree....
As expected, it was a crisp, dry sake with a strong sense of rice flavor.
The sake was a fruity junmai ginjo, a special junmai sake with a soft taste and the umami of rice, and a dry sake with a guttural taste. The evaluation of the companions was varied. The three types of sake showed once again that everyone's taste for sake is different.
