The overall lightness and drinkability of the sake does not betray the expectations of a cup, and it goes perfectly with the sweetness of the walnuts in the shiso maki!
The sweetness and flavor of the sake, however, is not cloying, and the addition of sugar and brewer's alcohol does not make the sweetness or flavor any more pronounced or dull.
