The 12th bottle for home drinking in 2024 🍶.
I opened a bottle of Tasake's Kojono-Nishiki, which I had bought last summer and left sleeping 🌾.
The aroma is fruity and complex with a slight sweetness and sourness, there is no fizz but it has a tangy feel to it 🤤.
I found out that Kojo-nishiki is the first rice developed by Aomori Prefecture that is optimal for sake brewing. And the only brewery that uses Kojo-nishiki is Nishida Shuzo in Tasake, so it seems to be a very rare brand 📝.
