This time, dinner with my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren at "Uotami" near Kaiun Bridge, Morioka City.
This restaurant has toys, picture books, and a TV for the children to play with, and there is enough space for one tatami mat, so even if the grandchildren finish their meal first, they can still play in comfort.
The meal starts at 5:00 pm, and you can eat enough food in two hours.
The menu is heavy on carbohydrates and not very friendly to the elderly, but if you can eat with your grandchildren, it's not so bad.
Surprisingly, there is a good selection of sake, so I chose a local Iwate sake, which I rarely order (laugh).
Asakai Junmai Ginjo Yumetouri
I am sorry for being a navel-gazer and not ordering it because it is available everywhere as a matter of course. (^_^;)
Take a sip.
It is soft and fruity, but it is delicious as a mealtime sake.
It is originally a sweet sake, but perhaps because of the meal it was served with, I felt it was a little dry in the back of my throat.
It was delicious! (^^)/
