Memorandum of October 14
This season has come again this year.
Koei Kiku's first series of Tsukikage (divine power) shipped this season.
I remember the first Koei-Kiku I ever drank was also a Tsukikage.
This was the sake that got me hooked on the sake swamp even more 🍶.
I still remember that impression 🥹.
I opened the bottle while remembering this past experience.
The aroma is mild, reminiscent of lactic acidity typical of Koei Kiku 😂.
(I always get ❓ when I write this 💦)
In the mouth, there is a slight gasiness followed by a firm acidity.
Then gentle umami and bitterness spreads.
The image is surprisingly sharp.
As the temperature rises, the flavor becomes more complex.
Delicious 😋.
It's still delicious when you let it sit for a while and drink it 😊.
Personally, pour it into a glass,
I personally prefer it when it's been at room temperature for a while ✨.
I'm looking forward to the new sake coming out soon!
