Purchased at the "From the Village to the Town Pavilion," which has since closed, featuring delicious foods from all over Japan. I loved it because they had local sake, not just so-called popular brands. Hope it comes back 🤣.
Now, Hanagaki from Fukui. The first in a series of different rice varieties, "Koshinoshizuku" is Fukui's rice rice? The aroma is slightly sweet and when you swallow it, it has the strength and umami that is typical for a sake made from rice rice. At room temperature, it smells a little of alcohol at 18 degrees Celsius, but it is not bothersome. It is not as powerful as Yamadanishiki or Omachi, but it has a well-balanced flavor.
