I found a small 300ml bottle at a nearby liquor store, so I bought it.
It's a special junmai-shu called "Toyoupai" made from "Toyoupai rice", a rice suitable for sake brewing that is only used by Miura Shuzo.
I had it at a chilled temperature, and it seemed to me to be a typical mellow sake.
It is not that fragrant and you can hardly feel the sweetness.
In addition to a bit of pungency, the bitterness was strong, so I'm not a big fan of it...
The aftertaste was like a mixture of alcohol and bitterness.
I thought it could be used as a wash when paired with something with a strong flavor.
I wonder if it would have a different face if it was heated...
