Room temperature 22 degrees, humidity 44%.
It is cold outside, but we will have a cold sake.
The aroma is modest, but it is not the sweetness of the rice, but the aroma of the rice itself.
It is said to be super dry, but it has a tangy, umami and sweet taste. At the first sip, you can feel a straight line of umami in your throat.
As you proceed to take two or three sips, the stimulating sweetness spreads across your tongue.
As you drink more, the stimulation fades and the umami stands out.
Probably, it is best to drink it as a food wine rather than drinking it alone.
You can feel the strength of this sake even with strong flavored side dishes.
This time, I drank it as an aperitif, but I will try drinking it during meals as well.
Perhaps it's because I've been drinking sake with a strong flavor lately, but I feel it's a bit thin, but I don't feel like the water and sake are separated, and it goes in easily.
It was a good sake today as well.
