The year ends in a few hours. The last drinking session.
The last drink of the year was a trophy from the Shinetsu Roadside Station Tour: Murayusuke, the main brand of Niigata Prefecture's Murayusuke Sake Brewery.
We found and purchased it at a special distributor in Nagaoka City. The store told us it was a ginjo. Misogi Hagi, the greatest result of the roadside station tour.
The aroma is a nutty ginjo aroma with a strong sense of rice.
The palate has a strong, refreshing acidity, followed by a moderate sweetness.
The aftertaste is also refreshing.
We are grateful to have encountered a good sake.
