Kudokibe Jr.'s Aizan 33% Junmai Daiginjo
Precious Banshu Aiyama sake polished to 33%. From its mellow aroma to its elegant sweetness, it makes you want to shout that it is delicious. It is similar to Hanamup, but the difference is the lingering aftertaste after it goes down your throat. Kudoki-Ue Jr. disappears quickly, but Hanamup leaves a slight sourness and bitterness. It is the pinnacle of mellow umami-kuchi sake. Both are delicious. Kudokidote Jr. is hard to find because there are only a few places that carry it, but when I find it, I buy it immediately.
