I thought Kikusui was from Akita, but there is a sake brewery with the same name in Nagano. I was surprised.
It has a refreshing aroma of rice.
It is light, sweet and sour.
It has a freshness and richness that is typical of freshly brewed sake.
I paired it with motsu-ni and pickled nozawana.
