I heard from a friend that Senkou is a brand that became quite popular and hard to find a while ago. I happened to get this beetle by chance. The label is transparent and stylish.
Various people have used metaphors such as "adult lemon squash", but when I tried it, there was no carbonation. However, it tastes lemony and citrusy. At room temperature, it also had a koji-like sweetness, and at 14% low alcohol, it's a gem for summer.
After a couple of days from opening the bottle, the lemony taste stabilized and I think it became easier to drink. I prefer it cold to slightly closer to room temperature.
